  • This coffee is beautifully balanced, featuring notes of lush tropical fruit and bittersweet chocolate, complemented by a smooth, full body that lingers pleasantly with every sip.

Process / Washed:

  • It’s a process in which the fruit pulp is removed from the coffee bean right after harvest, then the beans are fermented to break down the remaining mucilage before being thoroughly washed with water.

Region / Tarrazu:

  • Grown in Costa Rica’s renowned Tarrazú region—south of San José in the mountainous “Los Santos” area—this coffee benefits from high elevations (1,200–1,800+ meters), rich volcanic soil, and expert small-scale processing. from $11.00

Cupping Notes:

  • This coffee delivers exceptional sweetness, complemented by gentle orange-citrus acidity and a smooth, creamy body. The cup is clean, balanced, and consistently enjoyable from start to finish.

Region / Tlaltetela, Veracruz:

  • La Laja is a family-owned coffee farm and processing group in Veracruz that began in 1920 when founder Hermilo Sampieri purchased his first farm in Huatusco. Over time, the family expanded from one farm to seven, including Finca La Laja, Finca El Mirador, Finca Las Palmas, and Finca La Veracruz, with additional farms in Puebla.

  • Today, La Laja also sources coffee cherries from small farmers in Chiapas and uses its expertise in processing through its own wet and dry mills to produce high-quality coffee.

About Us

Created For More Coffee, Founders, Coffee Roasting, San Antonio, Micro roasting, Texas, Autism.

We’re a family-run micro roastery based in San Antonio, Texas, with roots in the Pacific Northwest—where our love for truly great coffee began. What started as a passion project in our home kitchen grew into a small-batch roasting business focused on bringing out the best flavor in every bean.

Our son Timmy, who has autism, is a big part of why we built this business. His journey has shaped our family and inspired our long-term goal of giving back to families navigating autism and disabilities as we grow.

For us, this isn’t just about coffee—it’s about family, purpose, and sharing something we genuinely love with others.
